Le Pas de L’AneSaint Emilion Grand Cru
“Le Pas de L’Ane - St Emilion Grand Cru” is the first wine of the estate. Red and black fruit aromas with spicy and woody notes. A good tannic concentration and a long finish. With a production of 12,000 bottles a year, this wine is produced with the oldest grapevines planted on clay-limestone soils located at 70 to 90 meters high. The wine aged in stainless steel and wooden vats. Atypical blend: 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Franc.
Château Haut Saint-BriceCuvée Aramis
Aramis is a very elegant, round and sweet wine exhalting flavors of red fruits. This wine is exclusively produced on a 2/3 a gravelly sandy brown soil and on a 1/3 fine-textured calcic brown soil (clay and a limestone subsoil). It is blended with 80% of Merlot and 20% of Cabernet Franc.
Le Petit Pas
“Le Petit Pas - St Emilion Grand Cru” is the second wine of the estate. On the palate the wine is powerful and full-bodied. Produced from 1/3 on a gravelly sandy brown soil (grave), 1/3 on a coarse-textured brown soil (clayey sand) and 1/3 on a medium-textured brown soil (clayey sand and clay and limestone soil). Blended with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc A 12-month ageing in barrels already used 1 to 3 times (oak from Chênes de l’Allier, Seguin Moreau and Quintessence).
Château Haut Saint-Brice
A complex and well-structured wine revealing fruity and spicy flavors. “Château Haut Saint Brice” and “Le Petit Pas” (40,000 to 45,000 bottles a year) are less powerful wines and blended with different terroirs. A 12-month ageing in barrels already used 1 to 3 times (oak from Chênes de l’Allier, Seguin Moreau and Quintessence). Blended with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
Le Château Le CrosSaint Emilion Grand Cru
Château Le Cros is a wine produced from a clay-limestone and gravelly-loam soil. Blended with 3 diffeent grape varieties: 85% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. A 12- month ageing in barrels already used 1 to 3 times (oak from Chênes de l’Allier, Seguin Moreau and Quintessence).
